Yolanda is a native of Montgomery County. She began her career in pediatric dentistry in 2013 as front desk coordinator. Over time, she has also added dental assisting and oral radiography to her skill set. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is full of positive energy. If it weren’t for the mask, you’d see her constantly smiling from ear to ear, and you might just hear her singing along to Disney music. Yolanda has a 12-year-old son, Hector, and 2 kitty cats, named Mike and Molly.
Yolanda’s hobbies include jigsaw puzzles, candle making, and going on hikes and being one with nature. Yolanda loves children, as they bring out her inner child, and she is eager to meet new little friends in her new position at Shady Grove Pediatric Dentistry.
Krista likes to think of her position as the office concierge. Her goal is to make sure that everyone who walks through our doors feels comfortable and welcome. She has worked in other fields before finally finding her home in pediatric dentistry. She adores children and is dedicated to their growth and development.
Krista has a son, Luke, who is 2 years old, and he is her whole world. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family, bike riding, reading books and making people laugh.
Lisa has been a certified dental assistant for 6 years and is excited to be a charter team member at Shady Grove Pediatric Dentistry. She began her experience in healthcare in an administrative position in New York. She then moved to Rockville with her husband, Leo, and took time off to raise their two young daughters, Briana and Alexandra, who are now 27 and 25. During that time, she was active in the community serving multiple terms as PTA President and coaching for the Montgomery County Track and Field team, as well as volunteer coaching for a local high school’s cross country team. Lisa was also active as a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Lisa is an avid runner and has completed multiple half marathons and also has participated in the Army 10 Miler races and Pikes Peek. She enjoys gardening and landscape architecture, as well as reading mysteries and completing Sudoku puzzles. Lisa loves being around children and is looking forward to meeting your little ones.
Dr. Ball's commitment to children does not stop at the doors of the dental office. For every new patient that visits us, we sponsor a gift to a sick child via our partnership with the Hope for Henry Foundation. By bringing your child to us, you are contributing to this worthy cause. Check out hopeforhenry.org for more information.
